Nominations continue until September 12 at 10 PM EDT. Here is a countdown.

AO3 Subcollection
Tagset

I have a few questions with regard to the following nominations.

Crossover Fandom
Data (TNG) & Sharon "Athena" Agathon (Battlestar Galactica)
Guinan (TNG) & Nile Freeman (The Old Guard)
Jadzia Dax (DS9) & Andromache of Scythia (The Old Guard)
Seven of Nine (VOY) & Caprica Six (Battlestar Galactica)
Seven of Nine (VOY) & Sharon "Athena" Agathon (Battlestar Galactica)

Are these meant to be 2020 "The Old Guard" movie and the 2000s Battlestar Galactica reboot? I can add that information if so.

Thank you all for your nominations and interest!

Yes, they are! I have edited them for clarity.

I should have definitely have disambiguated the TOG noms, but I thought the BSG ones were kind of obvious--none of the BSG characters nominated are in the 70s version of the show, which anyone who wanted to request BSG would know.

No problem.

The original 1978 show is so rare in fandom that you really only see it in Yuletide. When people talk about BSG, unless they specifically mention they mean the 1978 version, 99 times out of 100 they mean the 2003 version.

Also, the characters have different names. Even for the core characters where an analogue of a 1978 character appears in the 2003 show--Starbuck, for example--the name is different. In the original 1978 show, "Starbuck" is the entire name of the character. In the 2003 show, the character's name is Kara Thrace, and "Starbuck" is her nickname/pilot callsign. Commander Adama appears in both shows, but only in the 2003 version does he get a first name. (I don't think anyone in the 1978 version had more than one name.) Etc. And then there are all the characters that only appear in the 2003 version and have no analogues in the 1978 version.
