Summary
I enjoy a lot angsty fic, but I'd really prefer happy ending for my ships, and handwaving Trip and Hayes's death, or "fixing" it in other creative ways (either from alternate universe stranded in prime universe, for example?). I'm open to any idea, canon compliant or total AUs, absolutely go wild!

For canon divergent stories, a story set during the show, or else future fic, would be absolutely great! Surviving in the wilderness, sleeping together for warmth leads to more, stuck in a cabin, shore leave/vacation coincidentally at the same place? Time loop/travel/universe hopping adventure/hijinks? What if it was meant as one romp in the sack but it leads to bed talks and confessions? Sexual tension resolved with sex, rivalry resolved with sex, aliens make them get together.

I’d be over the moon with a first time, and I love tropes, and hurt/comfort scenarios. Reed or Hayes as the physically hurt characters for doing their job and protecting the other officers? Reed going trough hell, emotionally or physically in order to keep his captain safe? Really, as long as they're together and in love anything would be wonderful!
