I didn't get into this pairing until around the time Star Trek Beyond came out. I love their differences in personalities. I think their friendship would take time to develop, but in the end they'd enjoy each other's company. Show how their relationship evolves over the years on the Enterprise. It's okay to mention their age difference and have conflict in regards to it, but please don't have it be the focus. I love seeing Bones learning Russian--maybe even having them use nicknames that are more Russian (I've seen Pasha for Pavel and Lyonya for Leonard). I'd love if Joanna was in it briefly or mentioned even. Maybe she takes to Pavel right away. I think she and Pavel would get along. I like getting together stuff for them. Whatever you do please have Pavel be of legal age--so definitely past the first movie. The only thing is that I wasn't a fan of Into Darkness so if you could not reference it that'd be grand.

Their relationship is unique and complex. They come from different backgrounds, different cultures, different values, and even so they find enough to have a common ground and build on it throughout the years. I love their debates on literally anything. You can see it on their faces that they are amused and having fun. They ended up being so close that they could predict each other's moves and thoughts (to an extent of course). I love how Garak ended up adopting how Julian says certain words. I don't like Cardassians with claws and tails. I'm not interested in trans!Julian, but if you want him to be nonbinary or something that's cool (he/him pronouns though). I adore Dax and Miles being Julian's best bros. Garak as an unapologetic assassin badass is AMAZING. I'm not into politician!Garak or him taking a huge public role in rebuilding Cardassia. In regards to sex I prefer top!Garak and bottom!Julian.

I love these two characters so much. They interacted briefly in TNG and it worked so well. I'm sad we didn't get to see more of them together. I feel like there would have been so much potential for a friendship. It'd be fun to see their science nerding out, learning from each other, discovering that they're both products of Sung's experiments. I'm curious how long it would take for Data to figure that out. A long distance relationship and being able to see each other in person every so often seems fun. Seeing any struggles they would have romantically from realizing their feelings, getting advice from friends on how to go about it all, working up the courage to tell the other, how their relationship would go etc. I guess I'd let a get together fic lol. If you go with sex I don't have a preference for who is top or bottom.

I love them for many reasons of course, but in regards to fanworks I love them because they seem so natural together to become friends to lovers. I enjoy reading getting together fics. When you want that to happen is up to you. I'd love to see how the relationship evolves over the years and how everything changes between them by getting together, but at the same time it doesn't change at all. It's okay to mention their age difference and have conflict in regards to it, but please don't have it be the focus. If Bones is out of his uniform and in casual clothes that's A+ (think the last scene of Star Trek Beyond). Feel free to mention any of Kirk's PTSD and childhood trauma and how he deals with it all. I'd love if Joanna was in it briefly or mentioned even. Maybe Kirk is uncomfortable around kids or nervous about how Joanna will react to him.

I never thought about these two ever meeting, but it sounds amazing. Their personalities would compliment each others. They would probably bicker over their differing views their past lives have experienced. They'd make such a great pair as friends or lovers. I think even if they are friends they'd still flirt with each other. If there's sex I have no preference on who is the top and who is the bottom.

A few years ago I wrote a gift fic that was Bones/Pavel, but it was a crossover with Doctor Who where Bones and Pavel were both companions of the 13th Doctor without knowing it. I love that idea so much. I think 13 and Pavel's personalities and interests would fit so well together. Their bubbly nature, their maths skills, their inquisitiveness. Seeing them excitedly think things through together at a rapid pace. I can totally see Pavel and the Doctor fixing the TARDIS together. It'd be interesting to see how they met. Any adventures with both of them is cool. Or showing how they fit into each other's lives. I think Pavel would be a sometimes companion.
