Nominations are open!

Rules:

You may nominate 10 fandoms and 20 relationships/characters.

Fandoms:

The Next Generation includes the tv show and any movies associated with it. The Original Series includes the tv show and any movies associated with it. So on and so forth for all tv shows and associated movies.

Alternate Original Series includes the 2009 film and its sequels.

Books are counted as individual canons.

Comics are individual canons.

Video games are individual canons.

Crossovers between aforementioned categories should be nominated under "Crossover Fandom".

Relationships and Characters:

 

Nominate Relationships as James T. Kirk/Spock for romantic pairings and James T. Kirk & Spock for gen pairings.

Nominate single characters as James T. Kirk & None.

UPDATE:

Original Work Nominations:

• If you have a specific fandom in mind where understanding the character relies on the fandom - for example, Original Breen Anti-Uniformity Dissidents & None - then nominate under the fandom.
   
• If it is more general - for example, Original Cardassian Scientist/Original Romulian Scientist - then nominate under Original Work. Feel free when requesting a fic to include a specific fandom in the Optional Details, or when posting your gift fic.
   
• Abbreviations are the same as the general guidelines. For Original Work, it should be OW. Example, Original Cardassian Scientist/Original Romulian Scientist (OW).

Tags are populating in the wrong fandoms like tribbles, so please add at the end of your nominations the following abbreviations:

The Next Generation: TNG
Deep Space Nine: DS9
Voyager: VOY
Enterprise: ENT

Alternate Original Series: AOS

For books, comics, and video games, please include the title.

For characters that appear in multiple series/books, is there a preferred way to nominate them in crossovers if you want a specific story arc or setting? I'd particularly like to prompt for one of my pairings (Julian/Garak) in book plots where only one or the other is mentioned in the relevant book(s), and it might work easily enough if I could designate the fandom in the crossover tag by way of say: Elim Garak (Book Title 1)/Julian Bashir (Book Title 2) or something like that.

Elim Garak (Book Title 1)/Julian Bashir (Book Title 2) sounds perfect! In this case, it would help your author understand which Garak and Bashir are being requested.

If the books are completely unrelated, then as a Crossover Fandom with the book titles in parenthesis to designate which book you're requesting -- Elim Garak (Book Title 1)/Julian Bashir (Book Title 2). If the books are part of a trilogy, you could nominate Garak/Bashir (Trilogy Title), too.

Ooh, I didn't even think of the mini-series title issue, but I'll definitely keep that in mind if I want to nominate something broader like The Fall. Sadly, the specific prompts I want to give in this case definitely cross series (Worlds of Star Trek vs. Typhon Pact), but I'm more than happy to use Crossovers for it.

I also forgot to ask, but is it okay to nominate original characters or groups? I'm particularly interested in the Breen subcultures mentioned in Typhon Pact, would Original Breen Anti-Uniformity Dissidents & None, or Original Breen Dissident Character(s) & Original Breen Dissident Character(s) or something similar be acceptable?

I added Original Work as a fandom to cover all bases.
